Wednesday, June 13 - 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Please join us as we explore the rich traditions and values of Native American spirituality. Through the teachings of Elders that have been passed down through the generations, we will learn about the sacred medicine wheel, discover the symbolism of the number four (four sacred colors, four cardinal directions, four elements), hear spiritual songs and discuss the native people’s deep reverence for nature. Stephen 2Dogs Potter is a Native American of both the Ojibwe and Ottawa people. He teaches programs on Native American Spirituality to children and adults throughout the West Michigan area. He is considered a “helper” for the people. He is a counselor and performs ceremonies (weddings, funerals) that blend both traditional and Native American elements.
