Oncology is the branch of medicine which addresses the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.   Cancer patients rely on the expertise of medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists to collaborate in fighting this deadly disease.  People of faith are also blessed to have a specialist in supernatural oncology on their treatment team.  This  silent day of prayer will look to the life St. Peregrine for inspiration, consolation, and healing.  It is intended for survivors and patients of cancer as well as their loved ones and friends.
Schedule of the Day
9:00 a.m.         Arrival and Check-in.  Refreshments.
9:15 a.m.        Greeting and Housekeeping details by IHRC Staff followed by                          First Conference and Quiet Reflection.
10:15 a.m.       Mass
11:00 a.m.       Litany to St. Peregrine
11:15 a.m.       Confessions
12:00 p.m.       Lunch in Dining Room
12:45 p.m.       Second Conference
1:30 p.m.         Quiet Reflection
2:00 p.m.         Stations of the Cross
2:30 p.m.         Depart

The Silent Day of Prayer includes the Mass, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, two conferences, lunch and concludes with the Stations of the Cross. This Day of Prayer is silent.
