The March for Life in Washington, D.C., began as a small demonstration and rapidly grew to be the largest pro-life event in the world. Each year since 1973, on this somber anniversary, the peaceful demonstration that takes place in our nation’s capital has been a witness to the truth concerning the greatest human rights violation in our time, legalized abortion on demand.
The Office for Family, Youth, and Young Adults annually offers the opportunity for high school age young people in the diocese to participate in the March for Life in Washington D.C. The event is an opportunity to pray and peacefully protest the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision and to promote the gift and sanctity of life. Along with students from high schools and colleges/universities throughout our diocese, many of our parishes as well as Grand Rapids Right to Life will be represented in the March.
Please pray for our pilgrims and pray for and do your part to advocate for the sanctity of life.
