The next “Theology on Tap” will be held at Pat’s Pizza, located on 30 Market Street in Portland, on Thursday, February 21, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The gathering will be in the upstairs group room. Merissa Newton-Mills will present “Faith and Science in the 21st Century: A Story of Complementarity.” Newton-Mills teaches the philosophy of science at the University of New England in Biddeford. In this presentation, she will explore the complementarity between faith and science, the faith of great scientists throughout history, and discoveries that support the idea of the existence of God, free will, and man’s being in God’s image and likeness. Theology on Tap is a gathering of college students and young adults (ages 18-39) featuring food, drink, fellowship, and engaging discussions! For further information about “Theology on Tap,” email Josh Houde at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.portlanddiocese.org/theology-on-tap.
