Day of Reflection
Miriam of Nazareth: Homemaker, Disciple, Apostle

Every year during the month of May the Church invites the faithful to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and to ponder her unique and marvelous role in the history of Salvation.   Her “fiat” made possible the Incarnation of God’s Word, the Son she so lovingly carried in her womb and nurtured in her home.   Always at her Son’s side during the years of his ministry, she was first and foremost an exemplary disciple.   Sharing in the outpouring the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, she, too, was sent forth on mission to bring the Good News of God’s salvation to a waiting world.   We will spend the day getting to know the Mary of Nazareth whose presence in the Church’s in our prayer and devotion strengthens our faith and leads us to her son, Jesus, the Christ of God.

Day of Reflection includes the Mass,  lunch and concludes with the Rosary and Litany.
